Daisy joined BankTrack in September 2018. After being an intern for a year, she kept working for the organisation as a Campaign's Assistant. In January 2020, Daisy became part of BankTrack's climate team as a Climate Campaigner. Besides working on the climate campaign, she focuses on the campaigns in place for both the Equator Principles and the Principles for Responsible Banking. Daisy holds a MSc in International Development from Wageningen University & Research, and a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Tilburg University.
Erik joined BankTrack in February 2016 and works as BankTrack's Website Coordinator. He studied Logistics, Marketing and Economics at the HEAO Business School in Arnhem in the Netherlands. He has worked in finance and insurance as an advisor to private clients and small businesses. He was active as a human rights campaigner for Amnesty International.
Ernst-Jan joined BankTrack as a Climate Campaigner in February 2020. He has been active in several environmental movements such as Friends of the Earth and 350.org and is still active in Extinction Rebellion Netherlands which he joined in January 2019. Before starting at BankTrack Ernst-Jan obtained a doctor’s degree (PhD) at Utrecht University where he studied ice dynamics and ice deformation mechanisms in the Greenland ice sheet. He holds a BA in Earth Sciences and a MSc in Meteorology, Physical Oceanography and Climate, both from Utrecht University.
Hannah joined BankTrack as a Human Rights Campaigner in February 2020. Prior to this, she interned at The Centre for Research of Multinational Corporations (SOMO) as part of the OECD Watch coordination team. She holds a LLB in Law from Cardiff University and a LLM in Globalisation and Law, specialising in International Human Rights Law, from Maastricht University.
Henrieke joined BankTrack as a Climate Campaigner in March 2020. She works in the climate team driven by the sense of urgency to take climate action, and a motivation to make a difference in the lives of people and communities affected by bank financed projects and business activities. Prior to BankTrack, she worked for the campaign department of Dutch trade union FNV as an organizer and researcher. She holds a MSc in International Development Studies from Wageningen University & Research, and a BA in International Relations and International Organization from the University of Groningen (RUG).
Johan has been coordinator and director of BankTrack since he helped cofound the BankTrack network in 2003. Prior to that, he worked for twelve years as campaigner and coordinator of various international NGO networks, always with a focus on the financial sector. In 1992, he helped cofound the worldwide A SEED youth campaigners network, where he led the campaigns on multilateral banks. In 1998 he became coordinator of the 'International Financial Institutions programme' of Friends of the Earth International, which he led for four years. Johan studied Linguistics and Philosophy before getting a MA in Political Science/Development Studies at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, Netherlands.
Marília joined BankTrack in March 2020 as a Forest Campaigner. Previously, she worked at the International Institute of Social Studies as a Research Assistant, investigating the social and environmental impacts of investments in infrastructure and logistics in the Amazon soy value chain. She also worked for ActionAid Netherlands in research and campaigns against the forest impacts of the palm oil and soy industries, in Guatemala and Brazil respectively. She holds Bachelors in Law and History from the Federal University of Pernambuco, and a LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Groningen.
Philline was the Communications and Knowledge Management Specialist for the Asian Development Bank (ADB)-administered Climate Investment Funds (CIFs). She worked in media and communications for a decade, while volunteering for several organizations working on climate action and sustainability including 350.org and the Climate Reality Project. In 2013 she joined the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to manage its Low-Carbon Development project in the Philippines. She later co-founded the first solar rooftop services in her home island of Mindanao. Philline holds a BSc in Commerce and a Social Science Masters in Tri-Sector Collaboration from the Singapore Management University.
Raymon has been working for BankTrack since September 2009. His tasks consist of graphic design, desktop publishing, bookkeeping and keeping office facilities up and running. Previously Raymon had a small business in art and illustrative design. He holds a BA in Contemporary Art from the Academy St. Joost in 's-Hertogenbosch.
Ryan joined BankTrack in October 2012 as a Researcher and Editor, and coordinates BankTrack's campaigning work on human rights. Previously he worked at The Co-operative Group as a specialist in ethical finance, including implementing The Co-operative Bank’s Ethical Policy. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and Management Sciences from The University of Manchester and a MA in Sociology from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Sonia is originally from Brazil where she graduated in Business Administration. She has lived in the USA and Spain but found her home in the Netherlands. Her work experience is mainly with finance and business operations. In 2010 she completed her MBA with a specialization in strategy and sustainability from the Amsterdam Business School (UvA).
