Arming the occupation: El-Bit provides drones and military systems to Israel, that have been used to bomb Gaza. According to Corporate Watch, 85% of drones used by the Israeli military are manufactured by Elbit. Elbit's Hermes drones were for example one of the two main unpiloted aircraft used to attack people in Gaza during Israel's 2009 Operation Cast Lead attack which killed over 1,400 Palestinians, according to Human Rights Watch (HRW).
Elbit's 7.5 Skylark mini-UAV, operational in the Israeli Army since 2008, was heavily used for support of ground military actions in Israel's 2014 attack on Gaza, Operation Protective Edge, which killed 2,191 Palestinians. The Hermes 450s and 900s were also used throughout this attack.
Cluster munitions: In November 2018 Elbit Systems completed the acquisition of the previously state-owned Israeli cluster munitions producer IMI Systems. Cluster munitions are prohibited by the 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions which is signed by 120 states. They have an impact on a wide area and are therefore unable to distinguish between civilians and targets.
